Successful Turnaround at P. Diddy Factory in Honduras

Share

After the Institute released an in-depth report on the brutal sweatshop conditions at a Honduran factory sewing clothing for Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' clothing line, Sean John, a young worker, Lydda Gonzalez, testified about horrific conditions at the SETISA factory and Sean Combs met with Charlie Kernaghan in New York City.

Sean Combs responded by doing the right thing.  The factory was cleaned up, the workers were paid correctly and treated with respect, the locks were taken off the bathrooms, air conditioning was installed, and the workers organized a union and negotiated a collective contract!
